At EHS there was extensive structural damage to the masonry walls.

Some people have yet to understand that masonry construction is not the same as reinforced concrete construction.

Block walls can also be built in much stronger ways than was the case in this instance. Stronger walls are safer walls.

Amazingly some wooden structures hit by the tornado withstood less damage.
